Is a coordinator different than a planner?

A wedding planner works with you from the very beginning, guiding you through every step of the planning process and helping you to make decisions in every area. A wedding coordinator however, is ideal for couples who prefer to plan their own wedding, but want professional support to bring it all together. While a coordinator will assist you with decisions on final details, they come in toward the end of the planning process to ensure nothing has been overlooked and that your wedding day unfolds exactly as you envisioned. With the assistance of a wedding coordinator, you can relax and truly enjoy a stress-free celebration. We are here to assist you with as much support as you prefer for your event with both coordination and planning options.

How far in advance should I book a  coordinator?

To secure your date, we recommend booking our day-of coordination service at least six months in advance. While we’re called a ‘day-of’ coordinator, our support begins well before the day of your event—we’ll start checking in with you regularly a minimum of 60 days before, guiding you through final details and ensuring everything is ready for a seamless celebration.

Will we meet prior to the day of my event?

Absolutely! We can’t wait to meet you and will be in touch well before your event date. We will meet a minimum of two times—either in person or via video call—to draft your timeline, discuss details, and ensure we fully understand your vision. We’ll also be there for the final walkthrough at your venue to make sure everything is set for a seamless celebration.

What happens if there are unexpected issues?

Even with the most careful planning, unexpected issues can arise at any moment—that’s where we step in. Equipped with our ‘Emergency Kit’ of over 40 essentials, we handle challenges quietly and efficiently, often entirely behind the scenes. Our goal is to take care of every detail so you can relax, stay present, and enjoy each moment of your event exactly as you envisioned.

Will you assist with setup and teardown?

Absolutely! We’ll be there to help with both setup and teardown, making sure every detail is perfectly in place. From coordinating vendors to arranging décor and handling the breakdown at the end of the day, we take care of the logistics so you can relax and fully enjoy your celebration.

How much does a day-of coordinator cost?

Partnering with a day-of coordinator is a cost-effective way to fully enjoy all the time and effort you’ve invested in planning your celebration. We tailor our support to fit your personality, expectations, venue, décor, and guest list—whether you’d like us to take the lead or simply ensure everything unfolds exactly as you envisioned.
